Inspired by the frantic breakbeats, basslines and pitched up vocals from a vast collection of early 90s rave tapes, an obsession with DJing and electronic music production soon developed. Culminating in a residency at eminent Portsmouth drum & bass night Vurt with regular sets at Breakneck, M-Code became firmly embedded in local club culture.
