Unmade is a Portsmouth based community radio station offering a platform for DJs and sounds that are not currently represented within local nightlife or radio. unmade will bring bedroom DJs out of their bedrooms, bring unlikely collaborators together, and give Portsmouth stalwarts the opportunity to express themselves outside of their usual confines.
Unmade will be inclusive, reactive and always progressive. The sound will be new, forward-thinking, alternative or rare, but never none of the above. unmade will cover a wide spectrum of genres – if it’s good, it’s good.
Unmade will be a creative hub that will aim to intersect the disparate elements of Portsmouth’s music scene by bringing music lovers together. Everyone will have a voice. Only by being totally inclusive can we push the future of music in the city whilst paying homage to its past.
NOW PLAYING:

SAPR received an early education in electronic music from his dad, who would play him Carl Cox, Goldie, The Prodigy, and the hard house anthems he used to rave to.
Shaped by the likes of Jeff Mills, Ben Sims and DVS1, and distilled through the dubstep, house and tech-house of his early teens, SAPR later discerned his own techno-driven sound, in both his mixing and his own productions. Now studying for a degree in creative music technology, his influences are continually expanding.
A SAPR show will be focused upon stripped-back, forward-thinking minimal techno, with tracks which are heavily driven by groove and percussion.
Monthly, Tuesdays 10pm-11pm.
